About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

The item came in boxed with no scrathes or dents. The color of some of the drawers was not consistent and the wood does scratch or dent easily. Overall, for the price, the product is good.

Good looking furniture. Easy to assemble. Sturdy. Overall very satisfied. The dresser drawers aren't of the highest quality...have to make sure you push in from the center of the drawer because there is a little bit of play. Great bang for your buck.

I love the look of this furniture, it was easy to assemble and it seems really sturdy. My only complaint is that it scratches easily, but I plan to buy an espresso colored stain marker to fill in the light scuffs.

We purchased this for the arrival of our first child this January, so we haven't gotten any use out of it yet- but it looks great! My poor husband assembled it and said the directions were terrible (and he's a carpenter so he's fairly handy!). It probably took him about 2 hours to assemble the crib and changing table. We're very pleased with how they turned out and we can't wait to use them!

WE had looked all over for this crib and changer set for our little girl that is due to join us on 10/28. When we found it at CSN Baby we were surprised that it was in the same price range as other major retailers. Both pieces were originally on back order, which made me grateful that we looked for a set with plenty of time. However, both pieces shipped much before the "expected ship date". We received them in reasonable time. I was nervous about the color because the website just doesnt do it any justice. We wanted a true expresso color and much to my surprise, that is what we got! Absolutely beautiful! My only complaint is that the wood does scuff easily, but as long as you take care of it, I dont see it being a problem. My husband and I assembled both pieces in just under 2 hours.. great instructions! We were so satisfied with the service we received from the company and the quality of this product that we ordered the matching 4 drawer dresser which arrived last night! I would highly recommend these products to anyone!
