We really like the look and functionality of the crib, unfortunately it arrived with several machine bolts and barrel nuts missing. You can't get these at the hardware store - they are specific to the product. We tried to request more via the company's instructions online, but the website link was not allowing us to finalize the request. A letter to the company got no response at all. For the money, it's a good crib, but I would not buy a Million Dollar Baby product again, as they are not responsive to customers. For the record, we secured the crib with drywall screws and it is very sturdy now - but if my husband wasn't very handy with such things I would worry about the product's safety.

We ordered this crib for our baby boy who is on the way! [...] So easy to put together and very sturdy. Love the espresso color! Looks like it will last him years and years! Now waiting for the Kalani dresser to come in!

This crib is really beautiful and extremely sturdy. My husband had no problem at all assembling it, it took him at the most 30 minutes to assemble it. The crib looks fantastic and we couldn't be more happier. I highly recommend this brand and particular crib. It grows with your baby, safe and always looks wonderful.

Service and delivery comments:

The delivery was well-organized and prompt. In fact, it was supposed to be on backorder but it arrived together with a dresser and a mattress that we ordered within several days. I was very pleased. All the items that I ordered were well packaged and arrived in a great shape. In fact, my husband used other CSN stores for our big remodeling projects and we were always pleased both with the customer service and the delivery. That is why when the time came to order the baby furniture we knew the reliable company to order the items from.

Crib shipped quickly and arrived without any damage -- all pieces were in perfect condition. The color (espresso) is exactly what I pictured -- it's a nice dark chocolate brown. I was worried it would be darker (some pictures online make it look almost black) but it's great. Directions for assembly were good, you just need to go slow and follow EVERY instruction. Looks great against the yellow walls in our nursery. I would highly recommend this product.

We purchased this crib along with the matching combo dresser with removable changer tray with the plan that it will grow with our child. All three items are strong, sturdy and beautiful. The crib was as easy to assemble as can be expected from any furniture - expect the normal frustration and make sure there are two of you. We had read the warnings about the softness of the wood, so we were careful and didn't get a single scratch during construction. Our baby has not yet arrived, so we haven't had any practical use out of the crib, but so far we are very pleased. My only complaint, and why I didn't give this product a perfect rating, is that the rails are too thick for most crib accessories - we had to use additional zap straps to attach the mobile. But that is a small trade off for obvious quality and style.

[...] Opened the box, separated all the pieces and tried to read the directions. Absolutely the worst set of directions ever. No identification of the screws and there are several sizes. I had read that the wood scratches easily; that is an understatement. My crib is assembled after many hours, and there are so many scratches and little bangs, its really sad. If I could have boxed it up and sent it back I would have. It's sturdy, but because it was a nightmare to assemble it took away from the joy of the purchase. If you decide on this crib, get ready for a day of frustration.

My grandmother bought this crib for our upcoming bundle of joy! This is our first child, so we were struggling with picking out a crib. The crib arrived in great condition. The color is a little different than we expected, but that is due to how things look online. The instructions were a little difficult to follow, but it still didn't take but a couple of hours to put together. Beautiful crib....we can't wait to put our baby in it!!!

It's true, the wood does scratch easily, however it is a very nice crib. Also, very easy to put together. I put it together myself, 8 months pregnant and it didn't take too long. Looks great in baby's room and the color is beautiful!

My hubby and I put it together in 1 hour 45 minutes. We checked the parts list first, identified what things were called, then attempted assembly. Only one part failed, a locking nut. We called customer service and a replacement one was sent within the week... as was touch up stain sticks - Call and ask for these as you will need them at some point. Gorgeous looking, but they should use a stronger wood. For the price, which is not low-end, it scratches way too easily.
